elixir eco is a range of products designed to meet our environmental needs.
PET resin is one of the most commonly recycled plastics. The elixir programme is dedicated to ensuring that the maximum amount of PET is saved from the waste stream and instead re-cycled for further use.
A dedicated re-cycling facility using a mixture of mechanical and chemical processes transforms waste bottles into fresh PET chips, called post consumer resin ( PCR ).
The PCR can be used in the manufacture of new PET bottles and containers.

elixir eco 15 is a blend of virgin PET resin with PCR.
The product is suitable for use in food and drink applications and has FDA (Food & Drug Administration ) accreditation
The advantages of this blended product are the ease of processing coupled with the low impact on final bottle colour.
elixir eco-batch
elixir eco-batch is a revolutionary idea which uses PET recyclate to manufacture a masterbatch colouring system.
This patented concept introduces a new usage for waste PET.
elixir eco-batch can be used to colour new PET bottles as well as other products.
elixir eco-flake
elixir eco-flake is a low cost solution to environmental concerns.
Flaked product is manufactured after extensive chemical treatment and thermal re-processing to drive off any impurities from waste PET bottles.
elixir eco-flake is mostly used in the sheet manufacture industry but also has been approved for use in food and drink applications when blended with virgin PET resin.
